Stakeholders

Description

We are interested to learn from and work with stakeholders in industry, non-profit and government/policy. There are many practical applications of stable water isotopes in the critical zone (top of the trees to the bottom of the groundwater). For example, this includes understanding of:

  • Recharge of groundwater systems
  • Plant water requirements and water uptake in agriculture and forestry
  • Pollution travel pathways and travel times
  • And many more..

We’d like to hear from you and co-develop practical Watson outcomes with you. Are there any knowledge gaps or practical limitations in your organisation that might benefit from the use of stable water isotopes? We’d like to explore these options with you! Outcomes could include practical sampling protocols and guidance on the interpretation of stable water isotope data for your application. Are you interested in exploring specific techniques or case-study scenarios? Stakeholders might also host or visit researchers in their respective organisations via short scientific mission visits.
