Grantee story:     Mohammed Hssaisoune

I’m Mohammed Hssaisoune, an associate professor at Agadir’s Ibn Zohr University (Morocco). First and first, I would like to express my gratitude to COST Action WATSON for providing me with the chance to conduct an exchange visit at the Department of Agricultural, Food, Environmental, and Forestry Sciences and Technologies (DAGRI, University of Florence, Italy). I had the opportunity to meet with DAGRI research groups, which helped me to broaden my knowledge and field abilities on isotope tracers, particularly in agricultural contexts.

WATSON has provided me with valuable field and laboratory expertise (sample and extraction techniques), which will be very useful in my future uses of isotope tracers in agriculture.

During my internship at DAGRI, I not only learned about isotope utility in agriculture, but I also built new network relationships and met fantastic young researchers from all around the world (Greece, Brazil, etc.).

Mohammed Hssaisoune is the recipient of a Short term scientific missions grant
