Our next speaker is Angelika Kübert from the Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research (INAR), University of Helsinki.

She will talk about Assessing ecohydrological processes in grassland and forest ecosystems using water stable isotopes (δ18O and δ2H).

Water stable isotopes have been used extensively for studying ecohydrological processes, such as plant water uptake depths, the partitioning of evapotranspiration, and water travel times. In this seminar, she will give an overview of recent in situ plant and soil water isotope techniques to assess ecohydrological processes in grasslands and forests.
